Testimonials
The testimonials collected during the donation ceremonies in Ongwediva, Oshikuku and Windhoek reflect deep gratitude, heartfelt appreciation, and recognition of Africa Mission’s transformative impact.
The Principal of Joseph Mbangula Primary School, Agnes Nca, warmly welcomed the donors, expressing “heartfelt gratitude” and noting that their support formed the “backbone” of the school’s mission. She thanked Africa Mission for “believing in the Namibian child” and supporting learners on their educational journey.
Parents also voiced their appreciations. One parent representative acknowledged the donors’ “heart” for the community, remarking on how their generosity addressed urgent needs. They urged the team to “continue to support all Namibian children” without stopping.
Community leaders echoed these sentiments. A local councillor highlighted the importance of the partnership, offering local support and incentives, and encouraged learners to put the gifts to “good use” for their future.
Learners themselves expressed joy. One child thanked the visitors for uniforms, school bags, and shoes, and prayed for God’s blessings upon them.
The Principal of Christ’s Hope (Orphanage Centre) spoke movingly about the impact of the donations, noting that they made learners feel “valued, cared for, and supported,” enabling them to focus on studies and improve academically. They emphasized that the donations nourished “both body and mind” and created an environment where learners could thrive.
The National Coordinator, Prof. Clement Temaneh Nyah, underscored the symbolic and practical importance of the project, encouraging learners to make “good use” of their gifts and study hard, envisioning future leaders and ministers among them.

5. Challenges During Implementation of the Project
The project encountered some operational hurdles. Notably, flight delays disrupted the schedule, preventing key visiting team members from attending the first donation ceremony in Windhoek. This required quick logistical adjustments, including overnight travel to ensure participation in the remaining events. Additionally, the scope of need in the schools exceeded the resources available, meaning that not all learners could receive support during this round. These challenges underscored the importance of contingency planning, flexible coordination, and continued fundraising to broaden future impact.
Despite the challenges, financial stewardship remained a priority, with a total project expenditure of N$ 72,561.73 funded through Africa Missions UK. Resources were carefully allocated across the three locations and general logistics, ensuring optimal impact.
